How to read demand versus monitored reporting

A cautious method for comparing recorded search interest with approved publisher coverage.

Start with recorded observations

Review a topic’s reported search range, collection time and approved publishers. A large range alongside few monitored outlets can identify a research question. It cannot establish that the story is unknown, that the news will follow, or that publishing now will succeed.

Check the comparison

Use independent publisher groups, topic-matching evidence and compatible observation times. Repeated polling does not add searches, and syndication does not add independent corroboration. Missing or zero baselines mean a comparison may be unavailable.

Keep forecasts separate

48HrsTrends withholds unvalidated opportunity scores, next-country predictions and optimal-time claims. A chosen publishing slot is a user preference, not a forecast. Use current observations to decide what to investigate, then read the cited reporting before creating content.
