Use observed search history with clear measurement limits
Define the country, episode and observation window before comparing records. Google-reported start time, the first observation by 48HrsTrends and the latest collection time are different timestamps. Preserve those differences in notes and citations.
A practical evidence check
Treat reported volume as a lower-bound range within its source measurement period. Rank recurring observations using a maximum, not the sum of polls. Do not add country volumes into a global total, and do not count a missing observation as evidence that an event was absent.
Choose the right output
Public weekly and monthly editions provide compact retained observations with coverage notes. Paid-history access remains subject to account permissions. A Research Report can organise findings, but analytical conclusions still need a suitable design, adequate coverage and review of the original evidence.
